DC Area Rec Leagues — Spring Registration is Now Open

Arlington Athletic and Social League (AASL)

The AASL is a co-ed sports league that focuses on both athletic participation and socializing. It operates year-round with five sports: softball, volleyball, football, dodge ball and bowling. They also incorporate darts, billiards and bar games into their roster of fun. In addition to sports, the AASL also provides social outlets for its members, such as season kickoff happy hours, end-of-season parties, and tournaments.

Capital Alumni Network (CAN)

The purpose of CAN is to foster activities, networking, friendship and intercollegiate spirit between local alumni club members. They organize year-round activities in VA, MD and DC.

Chase Kickball

Chase Kickball offers six different sports so you can engage in all-out fun with like-minded outgoing folks: kickball, football, broomball, cornhole, volleyball and basketball. Chase Kickball is also one of the least expensive clubs to join in the Washington, DC area. They throw parties at places like Public Bar and Midtown Loft as well as organize a Booze Cruise with an open bar, and host a pool party every year!

DCKickball

DCKickball is generally less focused on competition and more oriented towards fun and social activities as compared to other sports and kickball leagues. They offer multiple divisions on the National Mall, as well as in Adams Morgan, Penn Quarter, Dupont, and more! DCKickball also plans inter-division events like booze cruises, tubing trips and other group outings such as DC United tailgates, barbeques and Nats games.

Fairfax Athletics

Fairfax Athletics is a co-ed adult social sports league in Fairfax County offering kickball, flag football, softball and soccer year round. This elite sports league welcomes all young professionals and adults from the Metro area to enjoy team athletics while also getting the opportunity to socialize and meet new friends.

NAKID Kickball

NAKID plays co-ed kickball and then goes to the bar afterwards to eat, drink and play flip cup — their “real sport.” This is a league where players don’t take the game too seriously; it’s a social club that happens to play kickball. They provide free beer on rainout days, and host a Beerlympics tournament and World Series of Pop Culture tournament every season.

Social Sports of Arlington (SSA)

SSA was developed as a joint venture between the creators of Social Sports of Bethesda (SSB) and Lindy Promotions. SSA offers an array of co-ed sports leagues including football, volleyball, softball and dodge ball. After every game all SSA players visit the local sponsor bar where they enjoy exclusive food and drink specials while getting to socialize with their teammates and other players in the league.

Social Sports of Bethesda (SSB)

SSB was formed in 2003 to provide sport and social activities for adults in the Bethesda, Maryland region. SSB offers an array of co-ed sports leagues including football, volleyball, softball and dodge ball and realizes that players can get competitive when participating in sports, but emphasizes having fun. They also sponsor social events throughout the year including happy hours at a local restaurant/bar after each game.

World Adult Kickball Association (WAKA)

WAKA is the World Adult Kickball Association, a social-athletic organization designed to provide and promote the joy of kickball to those young at heart, but it is also competitive with world-wide divisions. At the end of the season, each division holds a division tournament to crown a single team as the division champion and then Championship tournaments are held to crown a single team as the world champion.

United Skeeball Association

Happy hours, end-of-season parties, and having fun, that’s what Skeeball is all about … and the game, of course. Skeeball is a combination of bowling and bocce but definitely its own game. Whether you join as a team or as an individual, skeeball is a game anyone can play. United Skeeball has created a league that guarantees a great time and is a weekly activity that you can count on being fun.
