The music at Lucketts Fair distinguishes itself from most of the other festivals in the area. Listen to fiddle players and banjo pickers play the best bluegrass you've ever heard. Also at the Lucketts Fair, kids get to ride on a fire truck along country roads and go on pony rides through the woods while you browse all the antiques and crafts. If you're good at baking you may want to enter the pie baking contest, and if your specialty is eating then try the pie eating contest. Gates open Saturday at 9 a.m. and Sunday at 10 a.m. Tickets are $8 for one day, $12 for both days, and kids under 5 are free. For more information, go to www.luckettsfair.com.
