It was a COLD Saturday morning at Nationals Park Saturday for the several dozen runners that made the cut out of over 300 applicants to try out for the coveted spot of being one of the famous running Presidents. The lucky contestants were chosen randomly in threes to suit up anonymously and run as either George Washington, Abe Lincoln or Thomas Jefferson. They each had to endure a 40-yard dash timing and 2 races around the track, being extra careful not to bobble over onto the grass - a few bobbles and falls were taken in stride!
