For each visitor to our Web page, our webserver automatically recognizes and records IP addresses. It does not look up domain names or any other information related to those IP addresses.
We store the e-mail addresses of those who register for, or post messages to, our bulletin boards only so that they may elect to be contacted automatically when there are replies to their posts, and so that administrators can assist them with their account or notify them of any changes to the site.
Our webserver records aggregate information on what pages visitors access or visit in order that we may determine which content is most and least popular and adjust our offerings accordingly.
Our secure store records payment information (e.g., credit card number and billing address) for any purchases made in order to be able to verify and change/refund transactions. All transactions are encrypted.
We use cookies to store visitors' preferences and record session information, such as whether or not they are logged in or which items they have added to their shopping cart. Cookies are not used to track any other information.
Our email list is a double opt-in list: You must request to be added to it (either online or by signing up in person at an event), then reply in the affirmative to a confirmation email to actually be added to the list. Failure to complete both steps will result in your address not being successfully added. You may remove yourself from our list at any point by any of the following means:
1) Use the automated removal link included at the bottom of every email we send.
2) Use the automated online form at:
www.ontaponline.com/livewire_signup.php.
3) Emailing us at contact@ontaponline.com with the subject "Remove From List" and your name and the subscribed email address in the body.
4) Calling us at 703-465-0500. Our office hours are 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. EST, M-F. If calling after hours, please leave a message indicating that you would like to be
removed, the email address that is subscribed, and a call back number in case we have any trouble fulfilling your request.

We do not currently partner with or have special relationships with any ad server companies, such as Google, but maintain the right to enter into such partnerships in the future. In the event that we do, such partnerships will be noted here along with links to their relevant privacy policies.
If, for any reason, there is a change to our privacy practices, such changes will be noted here and clearly highlighted throughout our site for a period of not less than 30 days. Any affected parties may elect to have any personal information pertaining to them removed from our system at any time, whether due to change in policy or for any other reason, by simply contacting us as above for removal from the email list. In the event that you email your request, please use the subject line "Delete Account" and include in the body of the email your registered name, username, registered email address, and a phone number at which you may be contacted in case we have any difficulties fulfilling your request.
