Kick off Cinco de Mayo with On Tap Magazine, Corona, Cantina Marina & The Wharf at the Fourth Annual Running of the Chihuahuas for Charity!
What: Music, food trucks, cold beer, dog contests, a family
friendly FREE event with Chihuahua races.
When: Sunday, May 3, 2015 | 1 pm to 4 pm
Where: SW Waterfront, DC, between 6th and 7th Streets close to Waterfront Metro on the green line.
Why: A benefit event for Rural Dog Rescue and DC’s funniest Cinco celebration!
Come cheer on the racers, grab a
Corona or Corona Light, food from the Red Hook Lobster Truck, Sol Mexican Food
or Captain Cookie and enjoy live music from Hand Painted Swinger – there's no
better way to celebrate Cinco de Mayo.
The party is free to attend and dogs are $20 per dog to race. Spectators welcome. Race proceeds go to Rural Dog Rescue of DC.
Please note, due to high demand, the total number of dogs racing is capped at 96.
