There is nothing that compares to the camaraderie among the athletes. It is such a positive atmosphere that we have experienced over the last few years with my husband fist competing at the Va Scottish Games with no prior experience and at 39 years old. Our 14 year old daughter, who has been inspired and encouraged by the other athletes, will be competing this year for her first time. Great article about the sport our family loves.
