On Wednesday, January 27 the Ritz Carlton in DC played host to the 9th Annual Sugar & Champagne Affair. The event was hosted by Todd and Ellen Gray of Equinox Restaurant and Salamander Hospitality, all to honor the Washington Humane Society's oficers, who work to save the abused, lost and neglected animals. The affair also benefited the Humane Education program, designed to teach elementary school children compassion for animals. All night long, guests and their four-legged friends were greeted to sparkling wines, champagne, desserts from DC chefs, and of course a few treats for our furry friends.
